KOIMRI Brewery
We started out in 1909 at the Maeda Kenichi Sake Brewery.
For over 100 years, we have been brewing sake in the Imari area under the names of Kyomusume, Satoyuki and Koimari.
And it is only because the people of Imari have loved our sake that we have been able to continue to make delicious sake, and it is only because all of our employees have worked together to make good sake that Koimari sake has been able to exist here until today.
Now that I have taken over from my predecessor, I want to continue to make sake that makes people happy, that makes customers smile as they drink it, and that brings good fortune to the brewery.
In order to continue making such sake, we must fully understand the changing values and lifestyles of our customers as the times change, constantly think about what kind of sake will be appreciated in each era, and continue to make efforts and study in order to create the ideal sake.
And we want to be a group that is willing to go through any hardships in order to create sake that pleases people and spread it throughout the world.
In order to continue to make the local sake Koimari in the Saga/Imari area.
Koimari Shuzo exists today because it has been drunk by the local people for the past 100 years.
We want to create “local sake, refined sake Koimari”, named by the third president, to be as good as the pottery.
With our local area as our foundation, we want people all over Japan and the world to drink “Seishu Koimari” with a smile.
To achieve this, we will work together as one brewery and devote ourselves to our work without sparing any effort.
