MATSUURAICHI Brewery
Matsuura Ichizake Brewery was founded in 1716 (Shoutoku 6).
We have been able to celebrate our 308th year this year, with our brand name expressing our wish to become the best in the Matsuura region.
We have been making sake for 308 years since the Edo period, and we are grateful to everyone for their support.
We will continue to brew delicious sake. Thank you for your support.
Matsuura Ichi Shuzo was founded in 1716, and we have continued to make sake with the wish that our brand will become the best in the Matsuura region. Matsuura Ichi Shuzo offers tours of its sake brewery.
Please feel free to take a look around at the sake brewing tools used until the 1960s, old farming equipment, a collection of kappa dolls,and the mummy of a river god. If you make a reservation in advance, we will also give you a tour of the brewery.
At the Kappa Warehouse, a number of 'kappa collections' will greet you.
